Elena Biffi, OD, MSc, FAAO

Dr. Elena Biffi is a tenured Associate Professor of Optometry at New England College of Optometry (NECO) and the course instructor of record for “Clinical Ocular Imaging Topics” and “Advanced, Surgical and Laser Procedures”. Dr. Biffi earned her Doctor of Optometry and Masters in Visual Sciences degrees from NECO, and completed advanced residency training in Ocular Disease at State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. Dr. Biffi’s professional and research interests include advanced procedures and imaging technologies employed in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. She has been an invited lecturer at numerous national and international conferences and is a recipient of multiple prestigious educational and professional awards.

 

Jacob Lang, OD, FAAO

Dr. Jacob Lang OD FAAO practices at Associated Eye Care in Hudson WI, and Stillwater, MN.  There he serves as medical director of dry eye services and director of Associated Eye Care’s ocular disease residency programs.  He is also adjunct clinical faculty at the Illinois College of Optometry, The Ohio State University, and at Salus University.

Dr. Lang is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry where he currently acts as Chair of the Anterior Segment Section.  He is also vice-president of the Intrepid Eye Society and is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Minnesota Optometric Association.

Dr. Lang is a chief editor and editorial board member for a number of optometric publications.  He has written and lectured on eyecare extensively and is actively involved in clinical research and consulting with eyecare industries.

 

Blair Lonsberry, MS, OD, Med

Dr. Lonsberry grew up in Rossburn, Manitoba (Canada).  He obtained his Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1996 after completing a Master of Science in Physiology from the University of Manitoba. He completed his residency in Primary Care Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1997, then joined the faculty at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. During his time at SCO, he completed a Masters in Education degree with an emphasis in adult learning.

Currently, Dr. Lonsberry is a Full Professor with Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon.

Dr. Lonsberry is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, the Optometric Retinal Society, the Optometric Glaucoma Society, and the Ocular Surface Society of Optometry.

 

Brad Sutton, OD, FAAO

Dr. Brad Sutton is a Clinical Professor at the Indiana University School of Optometry and the Associate Dean for Clinical and Patient Care Services. Dr. Sutton’s main areas of clinical interest include ocular disease and surgical co-management. He has given over 550 continuing education lectures on topics related to ocular disease across the nation and internationally. He was named the Young OD of the Year in both Tennessee and Indiana as well as the OD of the Year in Indiana. Dr. Sutton has also received the Indiana Optometric Association’s Educator of the Year award and is a past President of the Optometric Retina Society.
