The term of office is one or two years. (Staggered terms)
The Board of Trustees meets approximately 6 times per year.
All Board Members are expected to take an active leadership role in the MOA, which may include chairing a committee.
It is estimated that the time commitment for Board Members is at least four (4) hours a month.
Since the Board of Trustees is responsible for directing the activities and functions of the MOA, Board Members are expected to attend as many MOA functions as possible. It is essential for Board Members to be connected to the membership of the MOA through attendance at meetings, activities, and functions of the MOA to help make informed decisions.
