Michigan Optometric Association Suitcasing Registration Policy

Suppliers of equipment, products, or services to the optometric/ophthalmic industry may have interest in attending MOA events, but not as an exhibitor or sponsor. MOA offers a specific attendee registration for Non-Exhibiting Suppliers (NES). The primary goal of this policy is to protect paid exhibitors’/sponsors’ investment in a MOA event. The Non-Exhibiting Supplier registration fee is $1,000/person.  Please contact the MOA office at 517-482-0616 regarding registering as a Non-Exhibiting Supplier.

Any non-exhibiting supplier who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles, CE sessions, in other public spaces, in another exhibitors' booth, or in violation of any of the rules and regulations for MOA events will be asked to leave immediately. Additional penalties may apply.

If your purpose for attending a MOA event is to assess the show to determine if you want to exhibit at the next MOA event, MOA will apply 50 percent of your Non-Exhibiting Supplier registration fee to the next scheduled MOA event, based on availability and published exhibiting and sponsorship rates. (NOTE: This offer applies to one registration per company, for one company representative only.) You must contract for space by the deadline of the next subsequent MOA event; fees are non-refundable if space is not contracted, or contracted and subsequently cancelled.
